THEFACESHOP Lovely Me:EX Milky Tint

My third post in a row, has anyone gotten tired of me yet? Don’t worry though; Shelley will be posting this Sunday. We just got our schedule in a bunch, and trying to work it out currently. Today I will be writing about THEFACESHOP’s Lovely Me:EX Milky Tint in 02 Baby Peach.

This product a blend between a lip tint and lip balm, similar to Benefit’s Cha Cha Tint, and it claims to gently protect the lips without dryness or smudging. The first thing I notice about the lip tint is that is smells AMAZING. I think it is trying to emulate the ‘baby peach’ that the colour is suppose to represent, but I personally thought it was similar to a pack of strawberry pockys. This smell might be because of the abundant of berry extracts that it contains: strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, and cranberry.

The packaging itself is very cute, but still have a trace of Cha Cha Tint’s packaging in its exterior, and the shiny orange bottle is the key association. The product comes with a doe foot applicator, I think this is the case because the tint itself is actually a bit thick in texture (similar to that of a lip gloss), and it will allow better precision for application.

The tint itself has an orangey pinkish colour to it, and once it dries, it doesn’t budge. The lasting power is not great though, it will stay for maximum 3 hours tops. As you can see that the application is a very light and gives the lips a baby pink colour. The moisturizing power is definitely better than normal lip tints, but it requires frequent application to keep up. Overall, I think this is a good product, but not a great product. It has its gimmicks (the smell), but only performs average.
